Abstract (en)
The method involves diluting a biomass with a part of a process effluent, and forming product gas and the process effluent as a reaction product, which contains inorganic salts and organic residues. The part of the process effluent is feedback after a predominant part of the inorganic salts is separated from a lower part of a reactor. The biomass with preset pressure is heated to a pseudo critical temperature. The heated biomass in the reactor is set with the feedback and heated process effluent.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur hydrothermalen Vergasung von Biomasse in überkritischem Wasser, wobei die Biomasse verdünnt wird und als Reaktionsprodukte Produktgase sowie Prozessabwasser, das anorganische Salze und organische Rückstände enthält, entstehen. Erfindungsgemäß wird ein Teil des Prozessabwassers rückgeführt, nachdem hieraus zuvor ein überwiegender Teil der anorganischen Salze abgetrennt wurde, und mit diesem Teil die Biomasse verdünnt. Im vorliegenden Verfahren werden die organischen Bestandteile des Prozessabwassers nahezu vollständig vergast, so dass ein hoher Gesamt-Kohlenstoff-Vergasungsumsatz erzielt wird. Zudem wird die Menge an anfallendem Prozessabwasser reduziert.
