Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1903146A2] The guiding unit (1) has an upper side (7) with a scannable structure for forming tactile, guiding, and boundary surfaces on roadways, lanes and other places. The structure has multiple raised ribs (8) arranged parallel to preset axes (10) and protruding from ground surfaces (9). The ribs are limited by side surfaces, which have different inclinations and arranged relative to ground surfaces and parallel to the preset axes such that the ribs are symmetrically formed transverse to the axes. Strips extending parallel to the axes and formed by the ground surfaces are provided between the ribs. An independent claim is also included for a barrier free crossing of a roadway.
