The arrangement has vacuum devices e.g. vacuum pumps (2, 3) and a measuring device (4) i.e. pressure gauge, a bus system (5) e.g. Ethernet with a communication unit, a control unit (6), and a management unit (7) that is connected to the bus system. The communication unit is provided for facilitating data exchange between the vacuum devices and the control unit and data exchange between the vacuum devices and the management unit, where the two data exchanges are independent of each other. The control unit and the management unit are a part of another control unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an arrangement with vacuum devices.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung mit Vakuumgerät, einem ersten Bussystem und einer Steuereinheit. Um Service und Austausch der Vakuumgeräte zu vereinfachen, schlägt die Erfindung vor, dass eine Verwvaltungseinheit an dem Bussystem angeschlossen ist und das Bussystem Kommunikationsmittel aufweist, die für einen ersten Datenaustausch zwischen Vakuumgerät und Steuereinheit einerseits und einem zweiten Datenaustausch zwischen Vakuumgerät und der Verwaltungseinheit angepasst sind, wobei erster und zweiter Datenaustausch unabhängig voneinander sind.
