[origin: WO2007003790A1] The invention concerns a crimping head (14) for automated assembly of profiled sections connected while forming a dihedral, said crimping head (14) comprising two tool-holding clamps (10) to cut a crimping tab in the wall of the profiled sections to be assembled. Said crimping head (14) is characterized in that the tool-holding clamps (10) are controlled in their simultaneous reciprocal movement via a mechanical connecting rod assembly ensuring the symmetrical movement of said clamps (10).
