[origin: WO2007006289A1] The invention relates to a method for discharging a gas from a heat pump (1), with an inflow section (9), an outflow section (6), which is at an angle with respect to said inflow section (9), and a suction section (5) being formed in a tube line system, said suction section (5) being connected to the inflow section (9) and the outflow section (6), wherein in the method, a solvent (8) is guided, such that contraction turbulence is generated, from the inflow section (9) into the outflow section (6), the gas to be discharged is absorbed by the solvent (8) as a result of the contraction turbulence and, after flowing out through the outflow section (6), said gas is discharged from the tube line system. The invention also relates to a heat pump (1).
