[origin: WO2007009960A1] The invention relates to a stepping switch S filled with a dielectric liquid and to devices for recording thermally related volume variations thereof. Said invention is used for recording the volume variation of a dielectric liquid in the gangway bellows/compensator switch K. According to said invention, a compensation device forms a compact structural component devoid of an additional conduit and mounted directly on the switch. The inventive expansion tank configuration makes it possible to integrate pressure-relieving devices and to place the monitoring units of the stepping switch in a space-saving manner.
