Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1905714A2] Device for winding a material strip (2) on a spooling roller (3) comprises a unit (8) for measuring the diameter of the spooling roller, an auxiliary unit (16) for showing the position of a separating site for producing a first end strip (18) on the spooling roller and a unit (12) for temporarily holding the introduced material strip. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing of a connecting site of a spooling roller lying on a roll (7) in a spooling frame (1). Preferred Features: The auxiliary unit is a laser pointer and the unit for temporarily holding the introduced material strip is a controlled/regulated low pressure zone which is integrated into the roll and acts on the roll surface.
