Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1905938A2] The seal has a carrier rail (2) with a seal unit (4) that lies on a base in a lowered condition and forms a lower seal. The seal unit has a u-shaped cross section with two side pieces (40, 41) and a bar (43). Lower ends of the two side pieces are connected with each other. One of the side pieces form a lateral seal. A sealing lip (45) project downwards, is formed at the bar and lie on the base in the lowered condition. The sealing lip is limited in length in lowered condition such that the bar is at a distance to the base in the lowered condition.
