Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1906025A1] The pump has an impeller (2) arranged in housing (3), where and impeller is rotatably supported around a rotational axis. A wearing part (5), which extends in a process direction of the rotational axis and surrounds a blade edge, is arranged within the pump housing such that the wearing part exhibits a gap with respect to the blade edge. The wearing part is movably supported with respect to the housing in such a manner that rotation of wearing part around the axis causes a movement of the wearing part in a direction of the axis to change the gap between an impeller edge and the wearing part. An independent claim is also included for a method for changing a position of a wearing part in a centrifugal wheel pump.
