Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1906432A1] The tube has an input screen (4) for receiving primary rays e.g. X-rays and an output screen (5) emitting rays, based on the function of the primary rays. The input screen includes a photocathode (11) on its surface for emitting electron beams in a direction of the output screen based on the function of primary rays. The input screen has a test chart (20) formed of a set of points distributed on the input screen. The test chart includes secondary rays e.g. visible light, absorbing/reflecting layer for locally altering the electron beams.
