Abstract (en)
A conductive strip transmission line is disclosed, including at least one capacitive component with distributed parameters which has, in the plane of the strip, a track area (12; 22; 32; 42) delimited by a profile free of angular points, for example an elliptical or circular track area. Also described are electromagnetic structures and circuit arrangements based on this type of transmission line, such as a low-pass filter (10), a bandpass filter (20), a »/4 transformer (30), a parallel LC resonator (40), a 90 degree hybrid divider/combiner and a Wilkinson divider, comprising capacitive components of a transmission line with circular track areas.
