[origin: WO2006134283A2] The invention concerns a pair of depilating tweezers (1) consisting of two mutually articulated branches designed to be brought mutually closer towards each other in order to depilate the hairs or hair of a subject. The invention is characterized in that its end opposite the free end of the branches has, in a plane perpendicular to the displacement of the branches, at least one convex radius of curvature forming a pronged gouge (2), the part of the tweezers linking the convex radius of curvature of the gouge (2) to the articulated end of the branches has a radius of curvature in the plane of the displacement of the branches enabling the fingers of a user using the gouge (2) to be positioned.
