Die Erfindung eine Vorrichtung zum Schutz vor von außen verursachten Bränden für Baulichkeiten unter Verwendung von mindestens einem flexiblen feuerfesten flächigen Material, wobei das flexible feuerfeste flächige Material (2) so dimensioniert ist, dass es im Einsatzfall die Baulichkeit (1) von außen mindestens abschnittsweise bedeckt und fixierbar ist.
