Abstract (en)
A pressure booster (6), arranged into the needle section (3) of a fuel injector (1), increases the fuel injection pressure opposite the system pressure. The booster includes a piston (22) reciprocated within the needle section and a communicating nozzle area (23) in communication with the spray holes (5) of the needle section. A nozzle needle (25) disposed in the piston includes a throttled coupling path (19b) connecting the nozzle area and the translation area (24) of the booster.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Injektor (1) für eine Kraftstoffeinspritzanlage einer Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere in einem Fahrzeug, mit einem Injektorkörper, der einen Aktorabschnitt (2) und einen Nadelabschnitt (3) aufweist. Im Nadelabschnitt (3) ist darüber hinaus hubverstellbar eine Düsennadel (25) zum Steuern einer Einspritzung von Kraftstoff durch wenigstens ein Spritzloch (5) vorgesehen, wobei zur Erhöhung eines Kraftstoffeinspritzdruckes gegenüber einem Systemdruck ein im Nadelabschnitt (3) angeordneter Druckübersetzer (6) eingesetzt wird.
