Abstract (en)

The pump has a casing plunged into a fluid. A centrifugal wheel (28) is provided on the casing. A coaxial electric motor (16) surmounts the centrifugal wheel. A stator is integral with the casing. A rotor is integral with a shaft (22), which is coupled to the centrifugal wheel. An axial balancing system (60) is defined by a fluid circulation circuit provided between the centrifugal wheel and the casing. A fluid cooling circuit (90) is provided for the motor and a rolling bearing. A supply circuit of the axial balancing system is independent of the cooling circuit.
