Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007017048A1] The invention relates to a method for selectively dying the undyed roots of hair, which have a hair dyeing over the length of the hair, during which in a first step A: a hair root dye, which contains at least one coloring component in a cosmetic carrier, is applied to the undyed roots and is rinsed off after a working time Z1, the all fibers are optionally treated afterwards in a step B with a hair conditioning agent. The hair root dye has a viscosity of 2000 to no greater than 27000 mPas (Brookfield rotation viscosimeter, Type RTV, spindle 5, 2 rpm) at 20 °C, and the working time Z1 does not exceed a duration of 20 minutes. This method offers the possibility to quickly and selectively subsequently dye the undyed roots of growing dyed hair. This method can be carried out alone by the subject without the assistance from another individual.
