[origin: WO2007015006A1] The step filtering device (1) for water of a pool is placed downstream of a skimming mouthpiece (2) connected to the pool wall at a water level and upstream of pumping means. The inventive device is provided with a first tank (3) receiving a filtering element (8) and a second tank (5) sealed in the top part thereof by a lid (11) extending over the pool water level (17). The second tank (5) is used for receiving a filtering element (12) whose retention fineness greater than that of the filtering element (8). Said second tank (5) comprises automatic venting means which can take: a position for exhausting internal air to the outside through a first cross-section, a position for inputting external air thorough a second cross-section which is smaller than the first cross-section and a sealing position for closing when the pressure is less than a predetermined value.
