Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2007006935A1] The invention relates to a device for the blast cleaning of foundry cores. The inventive device consists of: a shaft (1) comprising first compressed air inlet means (20) and pulsed air outlet means (25); an approach cylinder (3) which slides inside the shaft, under the action of the compressed air, between a retracted position and a working position in which a punch (5) is in contact with a workpiece; and striking means (50) which subject the punch to repeated impacts. The device also comprises blowing means (29) for creating an air curtain around the approach cylinder at the point at which it penetrates the body.
