[origin: WO2007000468A2] The invention relates to a method according to which: the contours of an image representing the decoration to be carried out are defined, and at least some of the contours are tracked with a narrow light beam projected onto the support to be decorated. Preferably, the light beam consists of a laser beam, and an image scanner, a means for extracting contours of the scanned image, and a remote control are used. Furthermore, according to said method: the support is modelled in three dimensions; an image to be drawn according to the model of the support is calculated for at least two tracing appliance sites; and at least some of the contours of the image calculated corresponding to the site are traced on the support to be decorated, from each site, using at least one tracing appliance. In one form of embodiment, each step for calculating an image consists of a step for determining the position of at least two sites of tracing appliances, and a step for locating a point on the support.
