[origin: EP1911587A2] The duct has a roller with a base surface (7) for carrying a printing ink, and cups (9) inserted into the base surface, where the base surface forms a base (8), which lies between the cups. Each of the cups has an opening (10) with a width, which is less than 1 millimeter, and a depth, which is equal to 50 percentage of the width of the opening. The cups are arranged in a continuous printing screen (11), and a dosing device is divided into individual controllable ink zones over a printing width.
