Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1911717A2] The indicator (7) has a calculator (12) calculating number of rotation carried out by a jib from number of rotation measured by an angular sensor (8) e.g. multi-turn absolute encoder. A pinion (10) has teeth (11), whose number is equal to power of two such that a reducing ratio (R), defined as a quotient of number of teeth (6) of a toothed crown (4) by the teeth (11), is a decimal number having a final decimal number, irrespective of number of the teeth (6). The decimal number is introduced in the calculator for determination of the last number of rotation carried out by the jib.
