Abstract (en)
In a forming cylinder for the production of mats of thermoplastic non-woven filaments, shaped with reliefs, the elements protruding radially of the forming cylinder (1) are provided with steps or indentations (5) above at least part of their walls (9A, 9B) to hold the filaments (4) and to delay their descent along the walls to improve the uniformity of the filaments distribution in the mat.
