Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1911907A1] Metal vertical frame element comprises first vertical struts (21) and a rod-like horizontal crosspiece (23) connected together by welding. A first perforated plate with passages is fixed to the first strut by welding and is arranged concentrically to the strut to surround the strut in a flange-like manner. A railing element fixing unit is provided on the first strut at a distance from the perforated plate. Preferred Features: A connecting head is fixed to a second vertical strut by welding.
