Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1911918A1] An access door (1; 100) for boats which comprises a carrying frame (2; 101), associated with a space (V) of a supporting structure (I), and a shutter (3), coupled with the carrying frame (2; 101) for opening/closing the space (V) and provided with an upper edge (3a) and a lower edge (3b) distanced from each other according to a first direction (Y; Y'). The shutter (3) comprises a series of transversal panels (4, 5, 6, 7; 104, 105, 106, 107), connected to each other by hinging means (8; 114) and coupled with the carrying frame (2; 101) by guiding means (9) which allow the sliding of the transversal panels (4, 5, 6, 7; 104, 105, 106, 107) along the first direction (Y) defining a first position for the shutter (3), in which the transversal panels (4, 5, 6, 7; 104, 105, 106, 107) gather into packet near the upper edge (3a) of the shutter (3) to open the space (V), and a second position in which the transversal panels (4, 5, 6, 7; 104, 105, 106, 107) are coplanar and aligned with each other along the first direction (Y; Y') closing the space(V).
