The strip (6) has a planar element i.e. insulating glass panel, inserted into a frame profile (8, 8a, 8b, 8c), where the strip extends over a thickness of the element with a base body. A connection area holds a connection of the strip in the element or a glass seal or an isolating bar of the profile (8, 8a, 8b), where the strip is detachably inserted and/or set with a certain play in a gap (5). Protruding shanks are placed on the strip in a longitudinally-running manner, where the strip carries the shank either in the area of the element or in the area for the profile. An independent claim is also included for a method for production of a window or door or facade.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Wärmedämmleiste (6) für das nachträgliche Einsetzen beziehungsweise Einlegen in einen Spalt (5) zwischen dem Rahmenprofil (8) eines Fensters, einer Tür oder einer Fassade und einem in das Rahmenprofil eingesetzten Flächenelement (10), wie zum Beispiel einer Isolierglasscheibe. Die Wärmedämmleiste (6) erstreckt sich zumindest über die Dicke des Flächenelementes (10) und trägt entweder im Bereich zum Flächenelement oder im Bereich zum Rahmenprofil (8) hin mindestens einen vorstehenden Schenkel (15,19).
