Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2007006522A1] The invention relates to a rotor (1) for a centrifuge, the rotor (1) being of two-part design with a drive part (2) and a dirt-collecting part (3), the dirt-collecting part (3) being connectable to the drive part (2) via positive torque-transmission means (28, 38), and the dirt-collecting part (3) being separable from the drive part (2) by being pulled off axially. The rotor according to the invention is characterized in that interacting positioning means (26, 36; 27, 37) are provided on the side of the drive part (2) and on the side of the dirt-collecting part (3), in that the positioning means (26, 36; 27, 37) positively guide the drive part (2) and the dirt-collecting part (3) relative to one another seen in the peripheral direction when they are brought together axially for their interconnection into a position which is suitable for engagement with regard to the torque-transmission means (28, 38) and in which the torque-transmission means (28, 38) can then be brought into engagement by axial displacement relative to one another, and in that the positioning means (26, 36; 27, 37) and the torque-transmission means (28, 38) are provided functionally separately from one another.
