[origin: WO2007003864A2] The invention concerns a receptacle (1) made of a material allowing through microwaves, designed to receive a food preparation (5) to be subjected to an ultimate steam cooking in a microwave oven, said receptacle (1) comprising a peripheral wall (2) and a base delimiting an internal volume. The invention is characterized in that the base of the receptacle is not perforated and comprises a housing (6) designed to receive a liquid reserve and, in that the peripheral wall (2) of the receptacle (1) is provided with a series of diffusion channels (9) for water vapour generated from the liquid, during the step of cooking in a microwave oven, said diffusion channels (9) being connected to the housing (6) and to the internal volume of the receptacle (1).
