[origin: WO2007014878A2] Varnish composition containing particles of calcium carbonate and their use for the coating the surfaces of various substrates. The resulting dried varnish compositions exhibit good surface aspect, good mechanical resistance, good matting effect and good resistance to liquid stain. The varnishes compositions can be used for exterior and interior applications.
