Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007012493A1] The invention relates to a cooling system for a vehicle comprising an engine (18), an engine radiator (10), and an engine cooling circuit (39). A second cooling circuit (40) encompassing at least one cooling component (11) can be coupled to the engine radiator (10) and is connected to a coolant recirculation pipe (31) of the engine cooling circuit (39) by means of a branch (29) of a coolant supply pipe (28) of the engine cooling circuit (39) and a recirculation pipe (34, 37, 38) of the cooling component (11). The second cooling circuit (38) can be alternatively coupled to the coolant recirculation pipe (31) or a coolant supply pipe (30) at the output end in accordance with operating conditions of the engine (10).
