[origin: EP1914335A1] The method for manufacturing knitted fabrics involves a plait pattern on a flat cord machine which has at least one plait on the left and right-hand regions of the mesh (LR1, LR2) formed from at least two strings (ST2, ST3). The crossing of the two strings of the plait occurs simply through the side setting of the meshes.
