The first and second funnel structures (07, 17) differ in a number of formers (09, 09', 19, 19'), which are placed next to one another in a machine plane, and/or in an effective width of one or more folders (09, 09', 19, 19'). A web (21) or partial web (21.1, 21.2) printed by the second printing unit (03) and guided through the drier (15) can be either guided to the second funnel structure (17) or to the first funnel structure (07) that differs from the second funnel structure in number and/or width.
