Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1916291A1] The multi-functional lubricating fluid is lubricant composition comprising oil of group I-V and mixture of at least two polymers. The lubricating fluid has viscosity of more than 9 cSt, preferably 9-12 cSt for 30 grade starting oil and more than 12 cSt, preferably 12-15 cSt for 40 grade starting oil at 1000[deg] C, viscosity of more than 8.5 cSt, preferably 8.5-11 cSt for 30 or 40 grade starting oil at 1000[deg] C after 20 hours KRL test, and viscosity of less than 51 cSt, preferably 41-51 cSt for 30 or 40 grade starting oil at 400[deg] C after 3 hours KRL test for 3 hours. The multi-functional lubricating fluid is a lubricant composition comprising at least one oil of group I-V and a mixture of at least two polymers having difference of permanent shearing stability index (PSSI) of 50 measured by standardized KRL test at 1000[deg] C for 20 hours. The lubricating fluid has viscosity of more than 9 cSt, preferably 9-12 cSt for 30 grade starting oil and more than 12 cSt, preferably 12-15 cSt for 40 grade starting oil at 1000[deg] C after 30 cycle Bosch test following CEC-L-14-A-93 standard, viscosity of more than 8.5 cSt, preferably 8.5-11 cSt for 30 or 40 grade starting oil at 1000[deg] C after 20 hours KRL test following CEC-L-45-A-99 standard, and viscosity of less than 51 cSt, preferably 41-51 cSt for 30 or 40 grade starting oil at 400[deg] C after 3 hours KRL test following CEC-L-45-A-99 standard for 3 hours.
