[origin: WO2006032403A1] The invention relates to a handle (10) comprising at least one holding plate (16) that can be mounted in an opening (12) in a thin wall (14) such as a sheet metal cupboard door. Said handle comprises a head part (28), such as a flange or an olive-shaped button, covering the edge (24) of the opening (12) of the thin wall (14) on one (outer) side (26) of said wall, a core part (30) which extends from the head part (28) and can be pushed through the opening (12) in the thin wall (14), and a holding part (34) which is carried by the core part (30), supported on the other (rear) side (32) of the thin wall (14), and is separate from the core part. According to the invention, the holding part (34) is formed by holding elements (36) that project from the core part (30) in such a way that they yield towards the outer surface of the core part, the free ends of said holding elements comprising an inclined surface (38) for supporting the core part (30) without play on the edge (40) of the opening (12).
