[origin: EP1916740A1] The device (10) has a clamping screw (24) accessible from a front side and including an operating end (26) and a clamping end (30) opposite to the operating end. A clamping body (12) is accessible by a housing opening in a wall of a narrow side. A clamping area is covered by a clamping covering part (60) that points toward a front side in a movement direction of the clamping screw and is coupled with the clamping end. The clamping covering part is dimensioned such that the clamping covering part covers the clamping area by the clamping screw.
