Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2007022658A1] A feed machine for a flock supply system in spinner preparation is disclosed. The machine comprises a flock forming module with a device for the supply of a fibre flow with a given amount of fibre per unit time and a device for processing the given fibres in order to form a flock flow. The device comprises an opener roller with a controllable speed such that the speed of the roller may be selected during operation in order to influence the processing of the fibres and hence the degree of opening of the flock flow.
