[origin: US2010293881A1] A composite frame (110) for insertion in a building aperture comprises a blind frame (112) and a sash frame (114) hinged to the blind frame (112), wherein the sash frame (114) has an inner sash frame profile (116) and on an outward facing side of the inner sash frame profile (116) is provided an adapter profile (118) fixedly connected to the inner sash frame profile (116) for fixedly inserting a panel (120) provided for this purpose.
