[origin: WO2007019843A1] The invention relates to a device for splicing optical waveguides (1, 2), which is arranged on a carrier plate (10) which is embodied as a circuit board. Said device comprises a first optical wave guide lead (20a), which is arranged on a spring steel sheet (80a), in order to displace a first optical waveguide (1) in the longitudinal direction, and a second optical waveguide lead (20b) which is arranged on an additional spring steel sheet (80b) in order to displace a second optical waveguide (2) in the longitudinal direction. The spring steel sheets (80a, 80b) are arranged on a flexible lever arm (60a, 60b). The optical waveguides, which are inserted into the optical waveguide leads (20a, 20b), can be displaced in the transversal direction (Sx, Sy) by bending the lever arm (60a, 60b). Precision required for aligning the optical waveguides is produced by the forces which engage on the flexible devices (60a, 60b, 80a, 80b).
