[origin: EP1917880A1] The present invention relates to a structured, rigid suitcase (1) comprising two shells (2, 3) connected to respective frames (4, 5); the frames (4, 5) are in turn connected to one another by means of a hinge (6) having two parallel pivot axes (X1-X1, X2-X2) to permit relative pivoting/translation of the two shells (2, 3); the hinge (6) is composed of two hinge portions (8, 9) formed integrally in the frames (4, 5) and of a connection element (7) which is connected to the hinge portions (8, 9) by means of one or more pins for each pivot axis (X1-X1, X2-X2).
