Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1918191A1] The method involves measuring the persons breathing rate. The pressure at the water depth of the person is measured. The position of the person body is measured. An evaluation unit or signaling unit is provided for comparing the limit value data and generated data with one another and if required, the gas chamber is filled with gas and an alarm is triggered. An independent claim is also included for the device for detecting risk of person drowning in water.
