[origin: EP1918443A1] A front-loading washing machine has a drum with a mass balance (11) attached by a screw bolt (13) to the drum end face (17). The drum wall has spigots that engage with matching holes (16) in the mass balance, leaving an annular void (18) between the spigot and hole (16).
