There is described a washing machine (1) having an outer casing (2); a wash chamber (5) housed inside the outer casing (2); a wash drum (7) housed inside the wash chamber (5) and which rotates about an axis of rotation (A); and a lighting device (8) located inside the outer casing (2) to light the wash drum (7), and having at least one LED (9).
