[origin: EP1918452A1] The section has upper and lower group of dryers (1, 2, 17) with respective rollers and water vapor permeable fabric tapes (15, 19) that form an endless loop. The tape (19) is movable such that it is inserted at an upstream transfer point and at a downstream transfer point at the tape (19). A suction roller (13) is arranged in the loop of the tape of the dryer (2), having a drying cylinder (18), at the downstream point. The roller has suction zones that extend over a part of an area of the suction roller surrounded by the tape (19), where one zone extends directly over a transfer region.
