[origin: EP1918458A1] The device (1) has a rotating grinding belt (3), which is pressed with an adjustable pre tensioning force against a profile (2). The grinding belt is attached against the profile by multiple lamellae (6) moving into a mold relative to each other and extending in longitudinal direction of the profile. The adjacent lamellae comprise a slot, where the lamellae are movably arranged in parallel levels.
