Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1918594A1] The device has trimming sub-assemblies with a profile corresponding to an upper inner profile and a lower outer profile of each of telescopic columns by forming a monoblock end fitting (11). An inner girdling (11b) and an outer girdling co-operate with lower and upper frontal end surfaces in an inner cavity of the column for upper guiding of the column. The inner girdling has a cut (11d) receiving a stud (11e) connected to the inner girdling for being positioned in an opening by elastic deformation. Wall parts (11c) form support and guiding zones arranged around the cut.
