Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007020226A1] The inventive dish washing machine (1) comprises: a tub (40), which is open at the front and at the bottom, is at least partially made of nonrusting metal and which has walls (11, 17, 18, 19); a separate housing, and; a mounting floor (16) at least partially made of plastic, the tub (40) being placed on the mounting floor (16) for forming a washing compartment (14), and the washing compartment wall (3) being formed from the mounting floor (16). According to the invention, the visible surface inside the washing compartment (14) of the washing compartment wall (3) formed by the mounting floor (16) has, at least in part, a different appearance than that of the plastic of the remaining mounting floor (16). The different appearance is obtained by an insert made of stainless steel on the mounting floor (16). A stainless steel surface that, to the user, appears highly effective can thus be obtained in the entire interior of the washing container (14) even in the case of a platform for a dish washing machine (1) having a tub (40) made of stainless steel that is placed on a plastic mounting floor (16).
