[origin: WO2007003870A1] Toy apparatus is provided including a playbase (4, 8) movable between a first closed position and a second open position. The playbase (4, 8) includes one or more members (32, 34) and these members (32, 34) are provided in a substantially flattened condition when the playbase (4, 8) is in a first closed position, and movable with the playbase (4, 8) to a partial or substantially erect condition when the playbase (4, 8) is in a second open position. At least one of the members (32, 34) is provided in at least one recess in the playbase (4, 8) in the first closed condition.
