Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007028535A1] In the case of a tiltable metallurgical vessel having a carrying ring (2) at least partially enclosing the metallurgical vessel at a distance therefrom, supporting brackets, which are fastened on the metallurgical vessel, rest on the carrying ring, and the metallurgical vessel is fixed in a releasable manner on the carrying ring by a plurality of clamping means (6, 5a, 6b) which can be actuated by pressure-medium cylinders (14), wherein each clamping means interacts with a locking bracket (7) fastened on the metallurgical vessel and the clamping means (6) is designed such that it can be moved from a release position (B), in which it releases the locking bracket, into a clamping position (A), in which it braces the locking bracket and is braced with the carrying ring, and vice versa. In order to allow for a secured connection between the carrying ring and metallurgical vessel in an easy-to-install manner, and using just a small number of components, it is proposed that the clamping means comprises at least one housing (8), a clamping anchor (9), a pivot lever (12) and a pressure-medium cylinder (14), which acts on the pivot lever, that the clamping anchor (9) is guided in a pivotable manner in a guide means (10) in the housing (8) and is articulated in a pivotable manner on the pivot lever (12), and that the pivot lever is supported in a pivotable manner in the housing.
