[origin: WO2007023085A1] The invention relates to improved humidity-regulating composite materials comprising a flat carrier material, a water-soluble hygroscopic substance, and a water-absorbent polymer which is polymerised on the carrier material in the presence of the hygroscopic substance, and which is obtained by poymerising a monomer mixture which contains at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer i) and at least 6 weight parts of cross-linking agents iii) in relation to 100 weight parts of monomers i) The invention also relates to a method for producing said materials and to the use thereof for humidity regulation.
