[origin: WO2007017309A1] The invention relates to a machine (1) for renewing a railway track (7) which has a ballast conveyor (20) extending in the longitudinal direction of the machine on the one hand between an upper and a lower sleeper conveying unit (12,17) and on the other hand between a ballast accommodating device and a ballast distributing arrangement (22). The ballast conveyor is equipped with a discharge end (21) which, relative to an operating direction (8), is positioned behind a device (23) for depositing new rails (24) on new sleepers (16).
