[origin: WO2007023234A1] The invention relates to an essentially-elongated spark plug (1) for the internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, consisting of: an essentially-capacitive (C) lower part comprising two coaxial electrodes (2, 3); an essentially-inductive (I) upper part comprising a central mandrel (8), a coaxial winding (5) around the mandrel (8) and an external tubular casing (61) which serves as electromagnetic armour; and an insulant (7) which is disposed radially between the casing (61) and the winding (5). The invention is characterised in that the essentially-inductive upper part (I) comprises a second internal casing (62) of electromagnetic armour, which is disposed radially between the insulant (7) and the external casing (61).
